Our boy Theory Hazit linked up with a dope producer from VA named Vintage (no relation to us) and collaborated on a full length project named Lord Fire. The album released worldwide today! Theory is seen on the cover art wearing the Vintage Limited Black Friday Hoodie and the logo on the Brown Classic is peaking out under the hoodie as well.
In foresight of this hot release we linked up with Theo to offer fans a special promo insert included in each CD packaging. The insert contains a special promo code to use at the Vintage Limited web store good for 10% off your entire purchase. The offer and code is special for this album release… As if you needed another reason to pick it up! So if you don’t have it already go order your copy from our good friends over at Sphere of Hip Hop HERE and enjoy a classic album for the summer of oh-eight!
There’s a lengthly album review up HERE and for a taste of the music on the album check out Theory Hazit’s myspace. And don’t forget to tell Theo we sent you to harass him.
Well, here I go getting all nostalgic but we are but an infant learning how to walk over here. Can you believe its been a YEAR already!? Proceeding 2 long years of research, product development, manufacturing, and hard HARD work came the big event that started it all. One year ago TODAY we held our launch concert here in Baltimore. We flew in some of the best underground hip-hop artists from around the country to perform before a captive audience of fans and streetwear heads alike. All to help usher in a NEW brand with great aspirations and vision for its future. That brand was none other than Vintage Clothing Limited!
We started with a simple vision: “Make really high quality apparel and put dope limited edition art on it!” That mission statement still holds true today and even encompasses new ideas. Constantly evolving behind the scenes, yet staying true to its origins, you’ll see soon enough what we have coming down the road.
To everyone over the past year who has helped tell a friend, pick up one of our items, signed up on our mailing list, reads our newsletters, rocks our stuff proudly, or reading this now, I truly want to thank YOU!
We have certainly come a long way from that 5th of May only a year ago and we have no intentions of stopping now. Each new design we undertake is a work of love and diligence. We really take allot of time and effort to “get it right”. Sometimes that means a piece may take a year to drop! However, its that eye for detail and attention to quality that I believe has been the cornerstone of what people remember us by and recognize us as. That is something I’m really proud of!
So thanks again!!! And here is to an anxious second year looking forward to many, many more to come! God has a plan for our lives we’re just along for the ride.
And what the heck, why not check out the video/photo montage from the launch show today just to remember how it all began! You can check that out HERE.
In another installment of my “Of All Things Random” I found this. Its an innovative video experiment by Oliver Laric. What? Don’t know who he is? Me neither… but its definitely worthy of a plug. Especially if you’ve ever found yourself on a message board in your life.
At first glance, it looks like an abstract piece of emoticons, but a bit of squinting reveals much more than appears on the surface.
Well the trip’s blog entry got a little out of hand so rather than blast the whole front blog page I decided to drop it all into a separate section. Check out the trip blog complete with full details and photos galore!
I apologize in advance for the length but anyone who’s interested in reading about: Fashion, Celebrities, Streetwear, the insider workings of a brand label, International manufacturing and sourcing, the Las Vegas nightlife, Lions so close you can almost TOUCH THEM, and just about anything else MAGIC related should definitely take the time and check it out!
Catch Theory Hazit along side two member of the LightHeaded crew (Braille and Ohmega Watts) on Steelroots TV’s Mixx Masters Lounge show!
Theo was rockin his Vintage Limited “Brown Classic” tee and his Limited Edition “Black Friday” hoodie. Thanks for that screen time fam! Show was off the hook. Make sure you check it out HERE.
ps. Shout out to Barry Hampton who was also on this set. Barry is from Baltimore, Maryland (my hometown).
Every year the fashion world assembles in Vegas for the MAGIC International tradeshow. Here, buyers scour the floor looking for the latest new trends to fill their retail and boutiques shelves. Designers showcase their latest and greatest collections aspiring to grow their brands and network with as many contributing connections as possible.
This year, Eric and I had planned to exhibit but in lieu of some tough decision making on both our parts we decided it would be better for us to go as interactive spectators than exhibitors. Why? Well to prepare for a major push in 2009 and soak up as much as possible so we’re not blindly walking into a large investment unprepared. A wise decison I think. Especially as we are preparing our Fall 2008 collection and our latest offerings will be next level when they drop later this year!
So… here we are getting ready for our first time at MAGIC (for me Vegas in general). Luckily it just so happens that Valentines Day falls during the show week and we both decided to bring our wives for a nice little working vacation while we’re here. Again… a wise choice.
If your in town for the show keep an eye out for two guys in Vintage Limited with a couple sexy ladies on our arms and give a shout out and say hello. We’ll be sure to return the favor. When I get back I’ll have plenty to blog about and pictures to post no doubt. I just want to say thanks for all your support and let you know that this is looking to be a very promising year! Keep an eye on Vintage Limited. We’re definitely making some moves.
Today I logged onto iTunes as usual looking for some new tunes to keep the creative flow going… When to my surprise I noticed that two Vintage Clothing Limited sponsored artists where featured in the Hip-hop music section under “Staff Favorites”. Braille - Box of Rhymes, and Theory Hazit - Extra Credit. Two very dope albums.
Last time I looked it up the iTunes music store averaged about 1.25 million songs purchased at 99 cents apiece per day*. Visitors per day are probably three times that which means its a big deal to be featured… pretty cool. Congrats fellas!
