Hello again. Just wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to read our newsletters. If this is your first time getting one that means you, or someone you know thought you might like to get our updates and we want to thank you and welcome you. We try to cover some good stuff each issue and keep you informed about things you'll be interested in. Along with new item announcements we always try to hook readers up with some good stuff like exclusive deals and even music from some of our sponsored artists. Its Tax Day here. Did you get yours filed yet? If not you better get on that extension or make an appointment because you have till midnight to get those in the mail or e-filed. If your like me I tend to be a last minute filer but I was actually a day ahead of the curve and sent mine in (or my accountant did I should say) yesterday. This year was a little tougher than previous years because Vintage Limited is now an official S Corporation. We filed for our Government "incorporation" in 2007 so things were a bit crazier than years past.
Last month we had a good response to our Signature Series items and March Special. In lieu of that I decided to extend ONE last offer as some Tax Day relief for anyone looking to spend a little of that refund on some fresh new gear! Summer is about to hit us and the beautiful Spring that we're in now has been great. The malls, clubs, night and social spots all around cities across the World start doing more business. REINVINTAGE (re-in-vintage) VOL.2 IS COMING!
These have been a real cornerstone with collectors. What started out as just an extra "gift" for your support has turned into a classic and collectable unto itself. Our classic mix cd STILL comes with every order we ship, and its still complimentary! It features some of the freshest underground hip-hop to ever melt your speakers.
As you read this we're gathering material for our second volume (2008 edition). So far we have tracks from Braille (biggup to him and make sure you go support "The IV" out today!), Manchild of Mars ill, Soulstice and Kev Brown, Wordsmith, and more. Recently added was a track from our boy Theory Hazit off his upcoming album 'Lord Fire'. The new edition is sounding hot! We're excited to get this moving... but more on that when its time.
Also... Just a note to anyone who got something from us in 2008 and your looking forward to the volume 2 edition. We have your address on file and we'll make sure you get a copy of it. So if your holding out on getting something until we drop this new edition don't bother waiting! We have a list going so when it does get completed we'll mail it to you. It'll be like a nice unexpected gift in the mail one day. How dope is that!?
NEW BOUTIQUE CARRYING VINTAGE IN CALI
For all my San Diego, and Cali people... Just a heads up on a new boutique carrying our line called Art & Soul Lounge.
The new spot is owned by hip-hop artist and streetwear enthusiast Man of War. He and his wife just opened the doors on April 5th and if you live anywhere near there you should drop in and check out some of our stuff first hand.
Try it on, feel the quality. We're sure you'll love it but I know sometimes you need to see it to understand what it means when we say "quality". Feeling and seeing is believing sometimes.
So if your in the area there's your chance. They also carry music, spraycans (you know I love the graff culture), and features live underground hip-hop performances from time to time.
